TPD after Rating?
I was injured in the state of Connecticut.

Hi everyone,

At my last appt with my doc, he said he was going to rate me. I believe this is the same as MMI?? So, I have a few questions:

Will the insurance company still have to pay me if I'm still only working part-time? Or do all payments stop once you've reached MMI?

I am also involved with the vocational rehab program here in CT. Will they have to pay me while I'm in school?

Lastly, does anyone have any idea how long the rest of the process will take, if the intention is to reach a settlement?

Sorry for so many questions, but I know this is the only place I can get honest answers!

Thank you!!!

RE: TPD after Rating?
generally temporary disability payments stop until the parties agree on the amount of Permanent disability.

disability benefits are not extended

the process depends on the issues that have to be resolve. some cases there are few if any, others require court time.
there is no fixed duration.
