RE: mpn docs or attorneys choice?
1171, you said there was a vast difference between the QME and the AME. could you tell me how that effects what is going on with my TD? when i saw the QME i was working at the time but a month later it got so bad that i was taken off work. but not by the QME. isn't it different in determining td if i was not working when i saw the QME and he determines i should remain off work (or remove me from work himself) as opposed to working at the time of the visit, then getting pretty bad and being taken off work. maybe i should have gone back to him when it got really bad but wouldn't that be a conflict of some kind? i really thought of going back to see him even before i was denied td.

RE: mpn docs or attorneys choice?
if your condition changed after seeing the QME then either party could request another QME re-examination if they disputed the new condition.
if there was no dispute with the new condition then benefits should be paid.

as I posted earlier once you have an AME opinion they control all medical issues from that point onwards- even a prior QME opinion or treating doc.
