the incident probably revealed a lot about who to trust and where loyalty begins & ends.
I suspect some might have a new appreciation of your wife's value while others are more threatened.
she should take it as preview and be prepared for the next situation whenever it comes.
what happened can't be undone but she can be better prepared.
