So if the psychosocial didn't go to well i keep sitting here? im not telling anyone i refuse to do anything, i have been playing ball with lib. mutual for about a year. RE: psychosocial results
comp is not a system that does well with long term "projects" or healing.
I suspect they'll be wanting to finalize your claim asap whether you are "healed" or not. P.S. you should list your state in your profile as specific questions depend a lot on your state laws. |

Funpops - Don;t worry about it. I had a psychosocial eval prior to the insertion of my spinal cord stimulator. It didn't go well. The "expert" decided that the pain in my back (I have had two fusions, 6 screws, 2 bars and two cages) was due to the death of husband two years earlier. The surgeon ignored the "psychosocial" exam and went ahead with the surgery anyway. By the way. The "expert" they went me to, to do the exam also suggested that my herniation od my disc and my drop foot was due to a PAST LIFE wher eI had gotten hurt and is forming itself in THIS life. ha ha ha....so much for experts..... -Dina |

RE: psychosocial results
Funpops each Dr will do different things to find out how well you will heal....fusion is a long process.....and they take alot into the process my Dr also asked if I smoked and if I was a natural redhead no to the first yes to the last...they did the neck fusion.....it didnt take they refused to do the lumbar fusion....stress is a major factor...dont let it get to you find a new hobby.....I suggest darts......get a picture of your adjuster....blow it up to a 8 by 10 and put a target on it.....keep the original its a long process you may need alot o them.......sorry 1171 old habits die hard
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: psychosocial results
My first psyche exam was a little over 4 hrs and the 2nd one was 6 hrs. Same result; I'm depressed over a work situation. That's why I went and what I told them in the first place. LOL! Go along for the ride and behave yourself along the way. Keep a positive attitude and that's when you will begin healing.

RE: psychosocial results
Had to have two for me SCS because the insurance didn't like the first one. It was harder to sit and answer all those questions then anything else. I did so much moving around in my chair that it broke while I was sitting in it. And I've always said the last question on those tests should be did you enjoy this test. If you answered YES you are nuts!!!
