Amazing Grace...

I found this tonight and it brought so many emotions to me that I wanted to share. I hope at least one person can get as much out of it as I did.

I had never paid any attention to youtube before, but they have several wonderful renditions of Amazing Grace. You might want to check out the one with Wintley Phipps on it. He is an awesome speaker and singer.

Ksgirl, one night when my daughter was about 9 months old I was rocking her to sleep. When I began humming Amazing Grace, she slowly started with that very quiet and tender kind of cry. I'll never forget it. Any other song didn't affect her so.

I used to sing this to my daughters when they were babies. They would always relax and go right to sleep. Thanks for reminding me Wink. We have been having some difficulties here lately, it's nice to have memories of when they were babies brought back to me. I was once able to carry a tune now I can't. Seems I am losing my singing voice as I get older.
