my employer don't carry worker comp, need help
weekend truck driver with 1099, in PA
lost my left arm in truck accident in bad weather my employer told me he did not carry worker comp. please help, what i have to do? |

if you are an employee, you should file against the uninsured employers guaranty fund

1171 is correct. However I would strongly suggest that you immediately obtain a lawyer since there are reporting requirements that must be met before you can file against the fund, and the process is a bit complicated.

My employer carried no workers comp coverage either. I went to the hospital and they treated me just like they would any other case....the only thing is that workers comp told me she would have to pay dollar for dollar amount out of her pocket. Yes Please do yourself a favor and get a good lawyer!
