What type of Dr. gives MMI rating?
I was injured in Idaho and my current Dr. is an Orthopedic Surgeon. I have an SI Joint problem and have not seen any improvements for over 9 months.
I need to find a new Dr. that can take on my case. What type of Dr. should I be looking for that can help me towards MMI and help with pain? |

I don't think it's a matter of medical specialty as it is overall medical competence.
some doctors are more successful then others with certain types of issues and there is no easy way of making a successful match. talk to the employer/carrier about second or even a third opinion. |
