RE: workans comp benefits
If you have not had a hearing they could just be stringing you along. There is nothing yet that will force them to pay you. Now they could pay you at any time but my guess is they are wanting to starve you out in hopes you will go away or take way less then your case maybe worth. Remember you are just a number to them and the less they spend the better off they are.
Just to give you an idea in my case I had a hearing in Nov 2008 and won, employer appealed so no pay yet. Appeal hearing was in Aug 2009 and won that. Still get them to start paying me WC until the end of Jan 2010. I hope you have better luck but just remember nothing goes fast in WC

RE: workans comp benefits
Im not worried about my employer the business is family owned so they want nothing more than me to receive medical benefits and get my injury taking care of. its not like alot of cases where employer works with i/c to screw ya.

RE: workans comp benefits
Only problem the company paying out the WC is not in your family and they are the ones that make allot of the decisions on what and when to pay. Your family pay a fee to have the coverage and depending on what it cost them is what they are going to have to pay
