RE: how long does settlement take?
it could take as little as 30 days or it may never happen at all

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

gritt - have you talked to you attorney? I put in a settlement offer also but have not heard anything. My attorney has told me that they probably are not interested in settling. If it's been three months perhaps your IC is also not interested in settling. they don;t have to settle. If they believe that you are going to get better, it is not in their best interest to settle. I was told that the IC that is covering me, doe snot believe in settling in general and their number one priority is to get their claimants back to work. Even though I tried to go back, and failed miserably, they are still not interested.
