Prayers for my sister & family

I received a phone call at 12:30 this morning from my sister, Millie.

Her husband had gone hunting late Sunday afternoon and never came home.

My bother-in-law had died while hunting and was in a tree (hunting) stand. The thinking is he had a heart attack as he had some symptoms earlier this week.

Thank you everyone for the kind words.

I spent the afternoon & evening at my sister's house. An investigation into the death is being done and we expect to know the exact cause of death later today.

Roger was having pains in his neck Saturday and would grab his neck and massage.
This is why it is believed to be a heart attack.

There is no life insurance to pay for a funeral, so there will be a cowboy service in the pasture where he died. Bales of hay will be used for chairs, a sound system will be setup and a local pastor will lead a memorial service.

Lord have mercy having just paid for two I now what even a simple one can cost....the service itself is the cheapest part.....I hope frinds and family are able to help......Beccas best friend in high schools sister buried her husband yesterday he was 28 died from a brain tumor.....they had nothing in the way of insurance for the family and 3 young children.....

Jayne this is the 2nd one the family has had in less then a month.

Garrett died on 9/11 and now his Grandpa on 10/3.

The service will be held in the pasture where Roger died, (family's request)
Hay bales, will be setup with a sound system in place for the pastor who will do the service.
