Recon Surgery, PT, What's Next??

RE: Recon Surgery, PT, What's Next??
Got it. So at some point my doctor may determine I've hit my MMI and give me a permanant disability rating. At that point the rating percentage gets recalculated into additional weeks of the base compensation I had been receiving. Now I'm wondering if I can locate a chart which indicates the calculation. Thanks for copying that portion, I couldn't pinpoint it myself.

The full statute is here: http://www.workerscompensation.com/regul...rent=46152

It has a list of the number of weeks for the body part injured.

Is the percentage calculated against the total number of weeks granted? i.e. Loss at or above the knee is 155 weeks. If you were rated a 5% permanent disability you would be granted 8 weeks of compensation?

Yes if you have a scheduled injury (injury to any of the parts listed in the statute) you multiply the percentage times the number of weeks listed.
