Emg test showed abnormal.
Seen my injury dr yesterday for the emg and went over results. Left leg was normal and left low back was abnormal... With these results the scs is put on the back burner. I have bulging disks l4-l5 l5-s1, it is his thought I need to see the surgeon again. I seen the surgeon about 2 months ago and said non opperative but with the emg results he may decide different. As before they know I have more then 1 pain generator but would like to clear up this by a nerve block and then possible surgery.

So heres another 4 to 6 weeks before decisions are made, another work slip was given. My boss has showed the first signs of anger even though not directed to me but was to my wife where we are both employed. She wants to know why this surgery was not an option before and why it is taking so long... (thinking to my self) oh you poor lady, your not the one having the medical issues......I have to update my lawyer on the new tests and have some wc bills in collections back from 2008, threating to take me to court......Oh the joy of it all................

Just an opinion, but I don't see why the surgeon would change his mind about surgery, as there was a reason why he said no in the past. But, also if you want surgery, I'm sure you can push them into it. I do think now will be the time for a long talk with the surgeon, and get all your questions out right there.

It is the world of ever changing when it comes to medical treatments and surgeons. There might be a few possibility where they might conclude that you don’t need to have an operation done because they believe that they could treat you and you could recover without it, and when things gets worse, or the current medication is not working, they would have to take another step forward to see progression and that is what I think is happening to you.
