In process
For those of you who have settled C&R and bought out your FM, can you tell me if you made the right decision or if you had it to do over again, how would you handle your settlement?

Or, if you kept your FM do you regret anything such as dealing with WC. Are you treated well? What kind of problems do you find?

Thanks for any opinions. :-)

Let Go, and Let God......

RE: In process
CC, I do/did not have the option. In Texas, medical for the injury is for life. No cashing out.

My claim went the total of 104 weeks (8-07). At that time I was at MMI. My medical continues to date. It was after the 104 deadline that I got the SCS. I have only had minor issues with the IC. I have had no problem with seeing two different drs. every 90 days and I get my meds refilled monthly.

8-05, Micro laminectomy/disectomy. 10-05 lumbar fusion L5-S1. 2-07 exploritory surgery. 12-07 medical implant, Spinal Cord Stimulator. now receiving SSDI. Jesus died for our sins. Soilders died for our freedom.

RE: In process
I settled C&R and FM I am happy I did I do not have to deal with with WC at all..however my husbands IC was willing to pick up where WC left off on PM as it was being handled thru my PCP along with my migrains and DDD....I was a lucky lady not all will.....

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

RE: In process
Chris Chris, I don't know about doing this, if say your on SSDI & Medicare, as to how a buy-out Vs a Medicare set-aside fund would all have a lot of meaning all at once if it were bought out now.
