louisiana what is a 1009 form for SEB
Hello.... I let a no-good attorney go after 2 years for lack of service. He just let the IC run the show; now its 11 years later and the doctors still will not let me work till I get fixed (C5-6, L5-S1, torn ligaments in wrist). Oil Rig accident. I talked to another attorney; he said I needed a 1008 form that should have been filed right after my last court date in April. And again my no-good attorney did not let me know I only had 60 days to file an appeal after a wrong Judgment was submitted by IC. Now its too late. I'm searching for a new attorney (have been referred to one who was previously a WC judge). Hopefully we can put this case to rest before we hit the 12-year mark. I think I need a legal malpractice lawyer, too. Any opinions?
