1171 or anyone else familiar with California WC.

I have a question..... My husband was on TTD (herniated disc) then he got placed MMI and PPD started, then he re-herniated the disc so he was placed back on TTD.

His 104 weeks have passed and TTD has stopped. He has not been placed back at MMI.

Will his PPD resume or does he have to wait to be placed back at MMI ?

He can request PPD advances be started but since his final disability is not known they will only pay based on a reasonable estimate of what that will be.
they will stop once they reach that estimate until the actual rating is known.
he should contact EDD and get SDI started until he is again permanent & stationary.
