Ohio knee injury
I was hurt at work and and to have knee surgery. I was off work for three and one half months. I was paid my wages by my company and all my medical bills were taken care of by Workman's Comp. It has been almost 6 months and my knee is still not back to normal (although I can still work at my job,) Several people have told me that even though I was paid that I am still entitled to a partial disability amount. Does anyone know if this is true or not before I contact an attorney? Thanks for any information.[/size]

RE: Ohio knee injury
if they paid your Dr bills and full wages consider your self lucky most of us have to fight to get a % of our wages......
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: Ohio knee injury
You stated you have an Attorney. I'm very sure an Attorney took the case, only because there will be a settlement. If there was no settlement, you would of had a hard time getting an Attorney to take the case.
The answer to your question is yes. Now how much, not a single person will ever know that, not even your attorney. Most cases will be settled on what your medical documents state. Also they use case law records as variables to see other cases at what those settled for, as for examples in most cases. EXAMPLE being those ranged from $1,000.00 to $30,000.00. That's only an Example of what past cases settled at. Figure yours to be in there somewhere. Reply's are intended solely for informational purposes. They are based on personal opinions, experience, or research and are "not to be taken as fact or legal advice", otherwise, always consult an attorney or a doctor. |
