Bummer I see nothing on the Ombudsman forms that say you can't talk to them if you have an attorney

Bummer Knees Wrote:Bodybuilder the Kansas Ombudsman will not speak to you about your case because you have an attorney.

A couple of years ago I decided to share my story with the Governor of Kansas, in return I received a phone call from the Kansas wc Ombudsman.

We spoke for a few minutes, he had my case information in front of him, but told me because I had an attorney he could not speak to me.

Really, well they talked with me....

Bad Boy you are from a different state, and as posted on this forum work comp is work specific.

Bummer, please, just because you don't take the time like I do to read into different States to help others, my State has nothing to do with what I do know about your State. To be honest, I might know more about your Work Comp Laws, Rules, Acts, and Statues then you any given day. I take the time to do it, to help people.

Plus, I have talked with the KS work comp Ombudsman, because I needed information in the past. They did help me.

Bummer, if you have seen and been reading the Injured worker board, you will see 1171 even stated I found information, web links and such they never been able to access before, and that is CA their State.

RE: Hang on, it's going to be a bumpy ride
I just got off the phone with the Ombudsman's office for Kansas work comp.

I spoke with Kathy, and learned their service is for injured workers who do not have an attorney.

I have posted the follow so Bodybuilder can contact them herself.

This is true Bummer, but, if I call, they talk with me, since I don't have an attorney, and I do get answers. Sheeeessssss...... Bummer, I just got off the phone with them myself, not a problem talking with me.

The web link is for Autism not Ombudsman's

Here is the web site:

Maybe if bodybuilder talks to them and explains what is going on they will talk to her.
