RE: Settlment Offer Made C&R
as far as a counter offer dont you have a lawyer? since we dont know your injury your % of disabilty or anything about you state or surgeries its a poot in a tornado guess ..... here is what I was told....you are never gonna get what you think it is worth........

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

California

What makes you think the settlement offer is a Low Ball Figure? Settlements are based off records from past cases.

profile lists location as nevada.
I don't see how anyone can give advice on settlement amount without knowing anything about the impairment or injury.

using a generalization and responding with a higher amount might get them to recheck their figures and discover they offered too much.

might be better to take some time to find out what you are entitled to if claim is not settled and how much that is worth.

ahhh
i think it'd be more helpful if the location of the claim was changed to california.

then they should counter offer the present value of the unpaid PD and the future medical costs.
