Looking for another job

I was injured in May 2010, before the injury I was looking for another job. I have not fully recovered from my work related injury, but would like to continue my job search. My question -- what happens if I do find another job will WC continue to cover my doctor's bill, physical therapy and whatever else is needed?

Do I tell the new employer that I was injured on the job - only because there are times that I have a lot of back pain or limping. I work in the computer field which at times requires going from desk to desk, swapping out laptops, etc.

I live in New York City. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Work Comp follows you no matter where you go or work. As for finding another job, that is the risk you take on. As it doesn't matter who you work for. What matters is how a new employer will accept you.

workers comp is not health insurance.
It is the employers policy and the policy still remains in force no matter where or whether the worker moves or changes jobs.
you cannot work outside of your restrictions.
