RE: w/c claim is past the 5 yr. mark! What to do?
I do have an I&A officer that helped me. With the furloughs in California, it is really hard to get a return email or call from him since he is always playing catch up every single day he is in the office. I emailed him at the beginning of this week so hopefully in a couple of weeks he will get in touch with me.
Thanks for the link 1171 and Bad Boy. Very helpful. |

Just let me say this. You do what you feel you have to do and follow doctor's orders.
I say why a Discogram, because what is going on is they are putting a puncture right into a Disc, even if it's a good Disc. Now, is the caution area. A puncture can then cause a Disc to leak, become smaller in size, makings for more problems, or even bringing on a surgery that might not be needed. Now a Myelogram, doesn't puncture a Disc. It is dye injected into the spinal cord, to help see the effected disc, to make sure which ones are at fault, and only in my eyes much safer then puncturing a disc and causing a leak in the disc. This may be a silly question but I have looked all over the internet and I haven't asked my doctor this yet as he doesn't like to discuss things like this until we are presented with the situation, but this might be something I have to pay for myself:
Ball park figure for me of course: How much would a 3 disc fusion cost roughly? (L4-L5-L6) Thanks again. |
