Vocational Rehab
Is it legal for a voctional rehab couns to apply for jobs in your name without your knowledge or approval? What right do they have to decide where you will work or what you will do. When did we relinquish those rights?

You signed a contract with them, I know I did, you need to read it. Or get a copy of what you signed with them. Then you built a resume, didn't you supply them with a copy of it? I know I had too. And yes, I have seen them do this to help it along, and I'm sure if you set this up meaning first meeting with them, you, and your attorney, it was all hashed out, or just never brought up.

Their main goal is to get you Back To Work, ANY work, within your restrictions.
Don't they have you job hunting now? Possibly, they don't think you are job hunting with enough fervor...and are simply trying to help you along....OR, you have a very pushy VR person. Good luck, Lilly Injured worker, & tired of it all! I'm too old for games!! A careless word may kindle strife, a cruel word may wreck a life, a timely word may level stress, and a loving word may heal and bless! |
