ESI Scheduled
I saw the wc doctor today, the insurance company has been pressuring him to place me at MMI, after the examine and talking to me I have been scheduled for an ESI next week, along with another 3 weeks of physical therapy.

He then told me I am nearing MMI and everything that can be done for me has been done.

The doctor refuses to address the instability of the S1 & Si joint, or lumbar fusion. My attorney is already talking about sending me to another doctor.

Juust an update.

RE: ESI Scheduled
MMI just means you aren't expected to get any better or worse with or without treatment. Maxxed out!!! LOL!!!!

Being made MMI has actually helped me. Was sent to QME doc for rating, and he recommended ongoing PT (I opted for aqua therapy), and SCS, and more........ I/C has been very accomodatinig and I am finally getting medical without too much of a hastle. I consider one hearing for denial not too much of a hastle! LOL! I love my C/A, I love my Attorney, I love my doctors, I love life!

Good luck with the ESI. They sometimes help, but remember, they are only a temporary fix. While you are feeling better after ESI, step up the P/T. Tongue

Let Go, and Let God......

RE: ESI Scheduled
You do sound good chrischris, I am happy for you.

I may return to the doctor who did the carpal tunnel as the treating wc doctor wants the entrapment of the ulnar nerve revisited.

My sister was with me at the appointment, she overheard the doctor tell the nurse to schedule the ESI, with that the nurse started to argue with the doctor.
The doctor then told the nurse, "The decision has already been made on this"
