Red, you brought the issue up before me. I just kicked it up a notch or two.

RE: Case closed after Dr. refused to perform IME
Thanks to all of you that feel that i got (as grundin put it) screwed over. I know that I did.The IME said some outright lies in his report and
had some of my medical history wrong, as well as some of my meds. On one of the pages he even had the date of injury wrong, 2001 instead of 2006. I believe that I posted about this in the Ask the expert forum, but can't remember. He lied about me having walking with a good gait and good to excellant balance when I walked on the heels and toes. I actually lost my balance several times and had to grab onto the table, so I wouldn't fall, he was standing right there watching. He also said that I had no distress, pain and didn't notice any spasms. When he had me lying on the table, and he raised my leg, I got a very bad spasm in my back, to the point he had me sit up until it went away. He said so many other untrue or inaccurate things in his report that it made me furious. I answered everything totally honestly and wasn't exaggerating anything. When what he did hurt, I told him, and if it didn't ,I told him it didn't. He even put in his report that afterwards, he discussed his opinions and new work restrictions with me and the case manager,(this was before I revoked her authorization) and that we were all in agreement, which is a lie, because he never said about new restrictions or his opinion of the evaluation, and I definetly didn't agree to anything, except going for another EMG to see if anything changed since the last one. This is getting me too stressed, there are many other things happening with the WC ins. company. Everyone take care, and thanks for letting me vent, anyone can email me if they want. Thanks Vickie |
