Question for Red
In another thread I posted about taking an online class this fall.

Well, the class I will be taking is medical terminology.

The week before my last knee surgery I was offered a job in the medical records department of our local hospital.

I was unable to accept the job due to my surgery and other medical issues. The department director requested that I have her personal cell phone number and asked that I call her when I am able to return to employment. I told her that would be sometime and she said that is okay, "I always need help."

I am looking at life after work comp and realize I won't be able to return to my former job as an Early Childhood Teacher due to my injuries.

So now I am looking at types of classes to prepare me for future employment. I would like to work in a hospital setting and have some experience working with medical records and I have 12 yrs experience working as an accounting clerk.

Would you have suggestions of classes that I can look at in the future?

I realize I have some medical issues, although I hope to have them resolved one day.

Sorry this was so long.

Thank you,

Bummer Knees
