RFA-------update
Yesterday I had my rfa, and all I can say is.....ouch.... I could stand the big needle, but once they inserted the wire and tested to make sure they were in the right spot......dam that hurt.. And when I thought the worse was over the dr says hang on its going to hurt.. I only had 2 nerves burned but each one took 90 seconds of electricity. And I will tell ya what (s.o.b. that sucked) I better see longer results then what he forcasted, 3 to 6 months and thats not what the books say or the web...... they were worried for my left foot was swelling and numb, but today all is good but the pain for the rods they had stuck in me........

Well I hope this helps you a lot.
Strange how it's said, no pain no gain. Kind of gives that a whole new meaning now doesn't it? Reply's are intended solely for informational purposes. Bad Boy Bad Boy Wrote:Well I hope this helps you a lot. Thanks BBBB.... Oh yea..... It does.... Like I told the dr, I will be happy if I can get any relief and even if its short lived. He said if we can get a handle of that area of pain we can move forward to help with other issues.... ( I'm all for that ) Also if if it only last 2 months and I feel its worth the agony, he will repeat the procedure,,,, The procedure really is not that bad, it is very painfull but you have to look beond and forward for the relief.... I would do it again and again if it helps.. But I must say (( no pun intended )) I am only 40 years old and with all previous injections I had my age and younger awsome looking assistants and this time they were all old enough to be my mothers...LOL. Nothing like a slap in the face being naked and on my stomach butt perched up for propper angle for the injections...(lol) and having these older women staring at my bottom.... Well at least I did not have to worry about somthing rising for the ocasion........LOL... Thats bad isnt it..??? |

RE: RFA-------update
If they "burned" the proper nerve, you will get relief. Mine usually last approx 1 year. You will be sore and hurt for a few days but around day 5 you should be sble to tell if you got some relief.
My last nerve burning resulted in 8 or 9 holes from where he burn't that many areas. The last RFA I had was my best! Good Luck! 2011 Lexus Convertible |

I was wondering how long to wait for relief, it really is sore around the holes but cant tell yet if it worked... I was off work this morning but am taking another day off. It is unusual for me to have a day off, working 7 days a week and today I slept in till 7.30 and I am always up at 3 to 4 am so I'm out of sorts today...lol |
