Gone On Vacation
I will be gone for a few days, I will be leaving Sunday.
So I will post some tonight and early tomorrow.
My husband and I are taking the kids and getting away before school starts

We will be going to Kansas City for a couple of days to Worlds of Fun Amusement Park and then to Illinois and staying at a cabin on the Missippi River, visiting with friends.

I called the amusement park and they have electric wheel chairs for rent, has anyone ever used one at an amusement park?
I won't be able to do much walking, may have to do some sitting while the kids and Dad enjoy the rides. I do love to shop and they have lots of little shops at the park.

I hope you have a really nice and relaxing time!!

Loving Mom to the greatest 4 year old little girl in the world. There is nothing more beautiful than a bright smile on a child. I never knew what true love was until I held my daughter for the first time. Take care of our children, they are our future.

BK..this is great. I hope you have a great time. I have rented an electric wheel chair however, it was several years ago, just about 6 months after my diagnosis and I was using a chair all the time. Do you have any questions about it? What I had was not a wheelchair, it was a scooter. A wheelchair is much better for situation I think however and it is for me now. I hope you have a great time with your husband and kids...always nice to get away..Red

Red

The information the park gave me was electric motorized wheel chairs are for rent.

There are lots of small hills in the park so I hope the chair works okay.

RE: Gone On Vacation
Have a great time , and most places now have w/chairs for rent, either electric or the regular ones if someone wants to push. We even rented one in Vegas from the casino we stayed at a couple of years back, for a friend. enjoy your trip.
