Court today
Hi All,

Went to court this morning, only got to talk to my lawyer since respondent was in another case for 2.3 hours. So I sat and I sat some more. So..., nothing, we'll present what we have, dispose the doctor I paid for an IME and wait for a judges decision that won't come in until atleast the end of August.

I did get bugged for about 15 minutes by my lawyer to once again re-apply for SSDI. That's not going to happen and he doesn't seem to get it. I finally told him that my husband and I had talked and we'd prayed over this for quite awhile. I have peace with my decision to not appeal the SSDI.

My father is slowly improving, I thank you all for your prayers. Going camping this weekend, I'll be a half a century plus 2 tomorrow at 0335.

BB

RE: Court today
Happy B day tomorrow. On my SSDI i was denied 3 months after I applied. I filed for an appeal on it and 6 months later i was granted my SSDI. I am thankful that I received and did not have a battle to fight, I just supplied them with copys of my medical files from all drs that have treated me for the past 20 years. Actually it was a very easy process for me.

Cervical Fusion 2003, c5-c6. Herniated and damaged Disc L1- L4-L5 S1. Lumbar Spinal Cord stimulator implant 09-2008. Cervical ACDF revision with hardware c4-c5-c6-c7 Sept 2009.
SSDI approved 3-2010. NOW OFFICIALY RETIRED

RE: Court today
I didn't appeal my SSDI denial because I only have a knee problem and a slight sciatica. I was encouraged by my new lawyer to try for SSDI and frankly I did it because I was afraid that he wouldn't take on my case otherwise. I don't see social security granting me SSDI based only on a knee problem. Replace my knee and I'll gladly go back to work.

Thank you for the warm birthday wishes. Just waiting to see what my hubby will let me purchase for it.
