red1030 Wrote:Nycpal.... I can't say for sure how to use it. I do know it is the chart that was used to determine my husband's settlement. If you look at the top of the chart going horizontally..you will see a section that is titled leg..then if you look to the first column it says percentage. I am not sure if this is how you would read it. The numbers seem very high for what I think could or could not happen. However, if you have a lawyer, ask him about the chart and I am sure he will be able to interpret it more clearly for you.
My husband has been off w/c for 2 years now... a nd I am glad. Good luck to you. We lived in the central southern part of NJ..south of Trenton...across the bridge from Philadelphia...I loved it there...we now live on the west coast. good luck Red

I know what you mean ! Had me confused also. I will try to figure it out. The numbers do seem to be crazy high ! Thank You again , nycpal

RE: NJ WC ?
Here is just an EXAMPLE;

Say 1 knee injury with ACL reconstruction. Settlement ranges from $10,000.00 to $20,000.00. When you have 2 knees with the same surgery, then the second knee gets discounted, to say $5,000.00 to $10,000.00.

That is only what I have seen in the past. So I put them up only as an Example for you to see...

Thank's Again, BBBB
Lawyer say's it will not be a settlement,(no lump sum) but I will be assigned a PD % and be paid hundreds of dollars over hundreds of weeks? How much and how long depend's upon what % I will be rated with. He also said that it may be lifetime payments? TD ?? I'am new to all of this and it is possible that I'am confusing things ! Also he did say that it can not be lower then 30% due to the amount of time that
I received TTD. Thank You Very Much for Bearing w/me .
