Work Comp Fraud laws apply to Employers as well...
Most states have Insurance fraud provisions that apply to workers compensation.
These provisions do not just target employees.
An employer can just as easily be guilty of a fraud violation when they knowingly supply bogus information or falsify information in order to get a claim denied.

RE: Employers can commit comp fraud too?
That is true. We interviewed the head of Florida's WC Fraud Division a few years back for our CompTalk Radio program. (http://www.workerscompensation.com/compn...orte.html) He told us then that the fraud incident level they see is "50/50", employer /employee. But the really big money was employer fraud; Not insuring workers, misclassified workers, etc.
