RE: SETTLEMENT - fentanyl - FUTURE
price out the annuity before deciding which to choose.

you can also request a structured settlement:
where the carrier purchases the annuity with the payments going to you and provisions for beneficiaries and COLAs etc.
when the annuity is in their name you have no tax liability.

the payout difference is substantial between 75% & 100%
you should request a payment schedule for each to help you choose.

This is where a good WC Attorney comes in to explain all of this. There are many Attorny's who "claim" to be WC Attorney's but many do not know the laws of WC of there state. I found this out a few years ago.

freebird Wrote:IF you are having SURGERY due to your work related injury, WC must pay for this; NOT MEDICARE; NOT A MSA at this point.
How can your case close when you are still injured UNLESS you are MMI.

I DO NOT KNOW, DID NOT KNOW MMI WAS AN IMPORTANT ISSUE PRIOR TO SETTLEMENT.

THIS IS WHAT I DO KNOW....SOCIAL SECURITY SAID I AM NOT WELL AND THE AME BOTH MEDICAL AND PSYCH SAID I AM NOT WELL.

Are you at Maximum Medical Improvement(MMI)?

Have you had a FCE? What was the findings?
I DO NOT KNOW....THIS IS WHAT IS SO HURTING, I CAN'T REMEMBER.

Some things you say do n ot add up. Your Attorney is either not knowledgeable of a WC Settlement OR you are confused and need another Attorney.

YES, I AM CONFUSED....MY MIND IS NOW WEAK AND BROKEN.

I WAS THINKING MAYBE I COULD GET HELP HERE...BUT I NEED HELP
FROM SOMEONE WHO IS HONEST AND CAN UNDERSTAND MENTAL AND PHYSICAL PAIN AND HOW IT CAN RIP YOUR MIND APART.

THANK YOU. I AM SO SORRY THAT I HAVE NOT BEEN CLEAR.

You must settle out properly OR MAJOR FINES could be levied against your Attorney, the IC and YOU.
