What's wrong with the Hood that it seems up high at the Right Fender by the Windshield, and not aligned at right front corner around the Header?

Is it a 350 4BBL with a 12 Bolt Rear, or a 350 2BBL with a 10 Bolt Rear & do you know the Gear Ratio? Or Engine 283, 327, 305, 396?

Transmission, 3 speed - 4 speed Manual 350 Turbo or 400 Turbo Automatic?

Rear end, 2:73, 3:07, 3:08, 3:23, 3:27, 3:70 with or without positraction?

Solid Lifters or Hydraulic? And has the Cam Shaft been replaced?

Do you know, if the Orig Vin numbers are still of the rear of the block behind the Intake manifold?

Hey, I always thought the outside rear view side Mirrors where more square and not round on the 1971 SS?

Well, I did have one in my days. The options of what you could get with it were good also. But, you then would have the Dealer order it for you. Plus, when you got it home, what ever we did from there was all extra's also. Now back in 1971, we installed side Exhaust on them. And Cadillac front power seats. We new people that would match the Upholstery as close to ORIG as possible.

This 1971 model SS should of had I think a M41 suspension which included rear Air Shocks. You adjusted them for the weight you carried, or to just rasies the heck out of the rear.

I asked if the CamShaft was ever replaced, because certain engines back then had cam shafts that were known to brake in the middle.

BBBB this is a 350 4BBL and yes a 12 bolt with 3:73 posi,factory air and a 400 turbo and this still has the old points ignition and works great to this day.As far as the rear hood as you know when these cars get older the hinges dont work as well as they did new and at one time or another the hood got opened to far and to hard so the hood bends just enough to stick up.Now the chevelles did this also and you can adjust the hinges down on the fender a little and take some of this out.I will have to put some pictures of the 1971 short bed on as well and that one is going to be sold as well because I would like to keep the 74.Thanks for looking and asking I have a good collection that is going to be sold and I have had these cars and trucks for many years and hate to sell them but I just can drive some of them as they kill me to drive.Ok ya the mirrors were replaced due to the chrome was getting bad.
