And now...., the cats dead, crap
Hi All,

Had a slightly blubbering 20 yr old call me yesterday, God bless that young man, my youngest. Our cat, Tiger, the one that was ailing took his last breath yesterday afternoon. Jared had called me yesterday morning all excited, Tiger was up, moving around, eating, wanting his tummy scratched, etc. So Jared brought him into the house (we'd put him in a large cage outside with boards on it, he was very comfortable), Jared said the cat had eaten, was purring, just like his old self. But shortly after Jared had come home Tiger started having trouble breathing, was crying out, Jared put him back out in the cage. About an hour after Jared had put him outside the poor little thing had died.

So this young man calls me at about 8:00pm (7 hours had passed since the death), he didn't want to call me earlier because he didn't want to upset me before the BBQ. He'd already buried him, apparently right where he and his dad had talked about it.

God bless him, we'll buy a sunset maple tree on the way home to put over Tiger. Plus I'll give that young man a big hug.

Told my oldest son that if he brings home another cat the cat will take his place.

I've been enjoying this weekend, nice to camp, catch up with stories. But now, crap, the cats dead. The bright side (if there is one), don't have to pay for his annual shots next month.

Enjoy your weekend, you DESERVE it,
BB

RE: And now...., the cats dead, crap
I've been laughing and shaking my head. Stupid cat, no, stupid cats, we still have 3 left and you know, they were all strays that my boys had brought home. Except Tiger, he's the only one we 'wanted'.

About an hour after my youngest called the song 'and another one bites the dust' went thru my head.

Mainly what's gone thru my head is, 'sigh, crap, sh--, ect'. Stupid cat but my youngest needed the exercise and I'll get a beautiful tree out of it that won't need fertilizing EVER. Like our blue spruce and the other sunset maple, buried two cats since we've been here. The worst thing about the other two, I buried them, dug the holes myself.

Enjoy your weekend, it got up to 92 here today,
BB
