still waiting!
Hi everybody! I finally talked to my claims adjuster after leaving her several messages. She said she sent out several papers for me to sign over week ago and asked me where they are. I told her I never received any papers except for milelage form and list of Drs. She acted like I was lying and told me I need to send them in asap. I've have known my mail carrier for 20 years and I'm sure I would of received them if they were sent. I asked her how my claim was doing she said theres nothing new and hung up! I filed my claim on March 24, shouldn't I know something by now?

One more time: You really, really need a lawyer. Before you do anything else, you need a lawyer.

Well I just got off the phone with an
attorney and he called me! He's a good friend of my son's girlfriend's family! He gave me a lot of great advice and also what to expect in the future. I read to him my MRI results. He told me that my back was pretty bad before the accident and the nerve damage was also present on the MRI. so that's why they are fighting it. I just have to wait to see the Ortho on Weds. then I will hopefully know whats going on. He said they have 90 days to decide.

RE: still waiting!
For sure get a good respectable lawyer, I have some deg disc disease. And from the mri they were fighting the findings because this happens to alot of people... I talked with my lawyer and he said dont worry about it, even though I have it it is not the cause of my pain.... And even if it was it could have made it worse, so yeah they will cover it.... My primary and my injury dr are very wc smart, they know thier tactics and have beat them to the path so far... Every thinng documented, coppied and recoppied.... If you have the right lawyer you will not have troubles, not saying that there wont be a fight but you wont be doing it all......

Yes! He is certified. He has a very good reputation. He did tell me he doesn't like to do W/C anymore because the Drs. do not care about their patients the way they used to, all they care about is getting them back to work asap. So I just found out that he might not take my case. Bummer!
