RE: Why Would My Attorney Okay A Nurse Case Manager for me?
I can say that my NCM was very helpful in obtaining treatment, getting doctor reports sent to my attorney right away, and actually became a voice for me when I was so depressed it was hard to explain things. I was very very lucky to have her. She was from a private disability company, hired by my C/A. She respected my privacy at the times I asked to be alone with the doctor.

However, my first NCM was the wicked witch from the west. Had her removed from my case.

Many attorneys start out as C/A's, find they love the legal field, and go either defense or applicant; depending on preference. Bless those who go applicant as they don't get paid until the case settles. Defense attorneys are the money makers in the WC mix.

Let Go, and Let God......

The attorney could have been looking down the road and known that the IC was going to get one anyway. This way the attorney may have been able to to get one that he/she knows. Not all NCM's are bad. They can be very helpful.

8-05, Micro laminectomy/disectomy. 10-05 lumbar fusion L5-S1. 2-07 exploritory surgery. 12-07 medical implant, Spinal Cord Stimulator. now receiving SSDI. Jesus died for our sins. Soilders died for our freedom.

Chrischris,

I just want to say thank you for replying. I made me feel a little better. I understand completely when you said, "became a voice for me when I was so depressed it was hard to explain things." Because I have to bring one of my sons with me because I couldn't speak for myself. I hope this nurse will be a good one, like yours.

I will keep you in my prayers, and I ask if you would do the same for me. God Bless you.

Injury date 11/2008; left upper extremity; CRPS; bilateral cubital tunnel syndrome; carpal tunnel syndrome.
