Forced to use Vacation to cover Dr. appt. in S.C.
Any information would be greatly appreciated,
I am seeing the company paid doctor for a work related injury that has been documented. Can the company force me to use my vacation for scheduled appointments during my normal work hours? Currently I am scheduled to work 12 hrs a day (7am-7pm) 6 days a week and this means the doctor's appointments have no choice but to conflict with my work schedule. South Carolina |

I do not know about S.C. but here in Okla they are not required to pay your time off to see the Dr....
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone.You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life,you have come out ahead of the game.....

you should have a choice as to whether to be docked for the lost time or use leave.
they are not required to pay you for work not performed. |
