RE: I'm just curious and taking a poll
Cap

Are you getting the regular or the artifical lens put in? if you are getting the artificial lens put in - driller was able to drive the next day - but then again he drove for 6 yrs with a cataract on the one eye that was so bad that they couldn't see through it.

He just had to have on sunglasses when he went outside for about a month is all and the annoying drops in the eyes that started a couple of days prior to the surgery. Surgery was done and over with in about 10 minutes.

And guess what is in one of the drops they will give you after surgery? sorry - but it is a steroid drop as well. Or that's what driller got to help keep the swelling down.

Other than that - it's just a matter of focusing coming back into place - and that will happen more when you get the other eye done - then it will mess that up for a bit in the mornings.

Now if you want to put your hubby at ease when he takes you for your surgery - after they get your eye all dilated - ask him if it looks like any of the marbles he played with when he was a kid. (drillers looked like the old cat eye marbles).
