Leaving tomorrow
Hi all... tomorrow will be a busy day so I do not expect that I will be on the computer unless I am able with my hp ipaq while traveling. I wanted to ask each of you to pray for our trip. I am so excited to see everyone, to see my grand children, and to see my new granddaughter. BTW...her name is Elianna Kassisana ... she is absolutely beautiful. I will have a picture with me on the trip. It is the only one that I have. My son made me promise not to post it on the computer, facebook or here, or my space..so of course I have taken his direction. I would love to share her with all of you and will do so as soon as I can. Did I happen to mention that she is beautiful.... lol...smiling..opps I guess I did up above... grandmas like to brag... lol.

Tomorrow and the next day will be our worse days as there is snow up on the mountains. Del just veiwed the department of transportations web cams for specific locations and we are in for some trouble I do believe. We are in a 32' motor home hauling a small pick up truck behind it. The worse part is that I am terrified, (I hate to admit this but it is true) of the road that lies between my mom and dad's house and Diamond lake. It is route 138 east. It is very dangerous and it winds over and over for about 48 miles from mom and dad's. Mom and dad live a good 30 miles from where Del and I are living. The rest of the roads for tomorrow will be country roads also as we cut across eastern oregon to Idaho where we will pick up I84 south. The first night we are staying in Eastern Oregon and then will move through Agden Ut around noon the next day. The snow there is really bad. Please prayer for us. I am so nervous about riding in this motor home. Del will be driving and I believe him to be the best driver ever so I know I am in safe hands. Please pray pray pray... no more snow and a safe trip. I appreciate your prayers greatly. I really thought the snow would be done by now... and since dad has to be back by the 15th of may to get his garden in this was the latest we could go. My parents are very close to their grandkids just like I am with mine and with their great grandkids... they are anxious to see them. Love you all and thanks for all your prayers in advance. Red

RE: Leaving tomorrow
Don't worry Red, All will be ok....Just sit back , enjoy the seinery and relax. I have traveled many times in a motor home going through mountains, Some with my sister pulling an extra trailer when we went to antique sales. The weather here so far is nice, a little cool, sweatshirt or jacket weather, but you should have good weather most of your trip. Good old Mother Nature sometimes works wonders. She may melt all of that snow, and if not you are in good hands with Del and your dad at the helm. See ya soon , and call when you get close on Wed. We are leaving here at 8am so will be there sometime that morning...... We are looking forward to this get together, Wishing it could be longer..... Maybe next time...............

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass.
It's about learning to dance in the rain.
