RE: Prayers for all tomorrow
It was a great two days, it was fun being with Jayne & Bill.
My hubby says Jayne is a card, laughing! My heart breaks for Randy & Angel. It was good to meet both of them. Angel took pictures & so did I, although I don't know how to post mine. My son wants to move to Oklahoma to live near Daniel, those two hit it off. Cody has social & behavior problems with other children, but he and Daniel did great. The girls are so sweet, Carrie is a beautiful young lady. Jayne, I have a brown sweater at my house. |

RE: Prayers for all tomorrow
Randy and I arrived home safely about an hour and a half ago. The car is emptied .. but there is still a lot that needs to be put away. Another long day for us.
The last thing we did, was drive by the house where little Vincent lost his life. We were going to leave a little Teddy bear in an Easter basket at the memorial there. But it was totally gone. Not sure who it was at the house, but they were removing the furniture and such (hard seeing the baby furniture on the trailer). So we brought the basket home with us and will set it next to little Vincents picture on the bookshelves in the dining room. It was one of the hardest trips I have ever had to make. And one that I hope we never ever have to do again. But, it brought the families closer than ever before. And we were told that if all goes well next week in court and Randy's ex-wife gets custody of little Tarah Jayne, his daughter is going to try and bring her to TX to meet her Grandpa and the rest of the family before she returns to Ecuador to continue her studies. It was a tense time at visitation on Friday, but we all made it through it, then gathered at Gail's house (Randy's ex) for more visiting and a candlelight vigil in the front yard. Randy and I were one of the last to leave. Meeting Jayne and BK before the service on Saturday was so wonderful. They are both very special ladies and as sweet as can be .. although they told me a joke just outside the church doors that had me laffin. It was a very beautiful service. I'm not sure who it was that sang the opening song, but I am going to ask Gail about it and see if we can't get a copy of it so that I can share it with you. Randy's neice read a poem that she had written, and Ricky (bless his heart .. it had to be breaking) did such a wonderful job sharing about his lil boy. After the service the church women had a meal all prepared for the family (more like a small army). The only tense time, was when Nycole's side if the family showed up just before they led the family into the chapel. But we all held it together for Ricky's sake as he is still in denial over his wife being able to do this to their son. Getting to BK's house was fun, as my GPS took me into town a different way. We met her and Jayne as they were coming down the road to head for pizza hut, and followed them down to her house. Then the 3 women left the men to their own devices and went and got the pizza (Hey BK... doesn't Pizza Hut deliver to the boonies?? ) When we got back the men were in the man cave and you would have sworn that they had been friends forever. Jayne and BK must have thought that there was a small army eating there as well with all the food. But it was a wonderful visit. I just wish that it could have been longer. It did my heart good to meet such wonderful people during a time such as this. As soon as I can DL the pics I will share them with you. It will probably be sometime tomorrow as I have so many emails to answer. And to my Forum Family..thank you so much for keeping us in your prayers and thoughts. Even though Randy only knows most of you because I talk about y'all all the time, it meant a great deal to him knowing that people he really doesn't know would show such an outpouring of love in his time of need. I keep each and every one of you close to my heart and in my prayers every day. Without your love, I probably would have gone back into my depression and the good Lord only knows how long it would have continued. I love each and everyone of you. Angel ^j^ I've always been crazy, but it keeps me from going insane. ************ Happiness comes through doors you didn't even know you left open |

RE: Prayers for all tomorrow
UA thank you for posting and sharing with us you and Randy arrived home safe.
I did very much enjoy spending time with you and Randy. I did share with Randy about the loss of my daughter and how I share his pain. No, Pizza Hut dosen't deliver to the boonies, laughing! I will have to get my daughter to take pictures of the man cave, I am sure the guys of the forum are curious about it. The time spent with you & Randy was short but sweet. Thanks for spending time with the family. |

RE: Prayers for all tomorrow
ANgel....what a horrible time for you and Randy.....I am so glad that Jayne and BK were able to be with you......There is no more horrible tragedy than the death of a child ..but for a small child to die in this way is even more horrendous......I pray for his soul that he rests in Jesus's arms and that you and Randy get the necessary peace you both need......I have good thoughts coming your way that this new bonding of families continues....God bless and be well.
God is never late. In the end it doesn't matter how many years were in your life but how much life was in your years. |
