Prayers Needed

So after such a long absence (caused by a serious bout of depression and trying to come to grips with the way my life has changed) I knew when called upon, I could trust my family here to accept me back with open arms and grant what I am asking.

I need the prayers of my family to get my fiance and myself through the next short while. We received a call from Randy's ex in Kansas a few hours ago with devastating news. His little grandson .. 18 months old, passed away this afternoon while napping. Little Vincent had just become a big brother last month and now there is a little girl who won't ever know her brother.

Actual cause of his death won't be known pending autopsy. But SIDS is the likely cause. We will be heading for Kansas either tomorrow or Monday. Not sure as we don't have any details on the service for him at this time. But please keep Randy, his son Ricky, DIL Nycole and baby Terah in your prayers.

I will post more about what I have been going through in another thread.

Having lost a child I do understand the emotions they are going thru.

This just keeps getting worse with each passing hour. The Harvey County Sheriff's department have arrested DIL's boyfriend and charged him with murder one in the death of our grandson.

From what we have now learned, baby Vincent had severe bruising on his face, a broken clavicle and broken neck. Full results from an autopsy still are pending as to the main cause for his death.

We still aren't sure when we will be leaving for Kansas. We don't want to get up there to early as Randy only has 5 days that he can use for FMLA grief leave and no other days available for sick/personal leave.
