I went to my CCH a week ago and the judge sent a letter to my DD doctor requesting a LOC from the DD and the DD changed my MMI date and increased my IR. Is this final?

I Live in Texas! I was initially awarded 7% Impairment Rating On my Shoulder and Back Injury. I contested it because the DD doctor did not have all the medical documents to make the decisions that he made! The hearing judge agreed and sent the dd doctor a request of a LETTER OF CLARIFICATION along with the rest of my medical records and the report came back with different impairment rating and mmi date! the new impairment raiting is 16 %. I was wondering does this mean that I qualify for SIBS or is there still more to the process! My attorney called me and told me I won my case! What happens now? Who has final say?

you qualified for sibs when were given your first rating.
there is much more to the process then the judge getting a response to the LOC.
a medical opinion is just evidence; docs don't have legal authority to order benefits.
the judge has to approve the rating and issue their decision.
either party can appeal the courts determination.

I was told that if I recieved a 15% or higher Impairment Rating in TX, That The IC would have to pay me weekly SIBS up to 7 yrs.
