Less than 24 hours ago, I was bragging about our 75 degree weather. For those of you who were ready to tar and feather me.. your revenge is sweet today. Our high today came after midnight and before 7 AM.. a sweet 64 degrees. We are now at 42 and still dropping with the wind chill taking it to 34 degrees. Winds out of the N at 14 gusting out of the NNE at 43 MPH. We have had some rain, and there is more to come for the next several days. And the temp is to drop even more as the day turns into night. UGH !!!! We aren't supposed to see any temps close to 60 or above till Sunday and on into early next week.

My pain levels have shot through the roof and it's going to be a double up on my meds kinda day with the remainder of the inside spring cleaning to accomplish as well as finishing up our taxes. This year is fun as we have capitol gains/losses with the buying / selling of Randy's grandmothers' home. And I have never had to do that with taxes before. Although I think it will be a loss as he paid $32,000 for the house and sold it for $25,000.

I was running around in shorts this morning walking the dogs and I slept with the windows open last night. Sometime after 10 this morning it dropped like 25 degrees in what seemd like a very short time and now it's 39, very windy and COLD! Well at least cold to me lol. You northern people are probably laughin at us southerners and our whining lmao

And I'm with Angel, all these weather changes we're going through is doing a real number on my body!

We may have long winters but I have to admit tempature wise it has been very mild this year.. We maybe had 12 days of below zero, we are used to going 30 days in a row and never see above zero temps.. If we wouldnt have got this last snow storm we would have been below average snow depth.. So over all this winter has not been bad, but trust me I would cash it all in for some where south.. They are saying 60's for next week with a few days close to 70, I cant wait.........lol

Our low ended being 38 degrees yesterday with wind chill of 32. Today is a bit warmer, 46 with a wind chill of 41. On top of everything yesterday, we ended up getting a decent hail storm with torrential rain just as I left the house to run errands. Rain predicted through each day, ending on Sunday. Then back to a pretty typical spring day starting Monday .. lower 70's to mid-80's.

At least my sister will get one or 2 good days while here visiting us. And the trip to Keller to see my neurosurgeon will be in brigt warm sunshiney weather and not cold, wet, blustery conditions that the past three trips were under. Might be a good time to stop and visit the stock yards again. We shall see.

Very nice day today, we are at 55 and nothing but sun and a gentle breeze.. Its crazy but we have a couple poupal trees in yard that the buds are out with a foot of snow at the base... Almost forgot where the gravel was, I havnt seen it since early dec... Looks like rain for tonight and tomorow but near 70 at the end of the week..... I dont think I can twiddle my thumbs that long... I have set on the deck for almost 2 hrs just enjoying the fresh air and sun... Poor dominick has them bright blue eyes and he doesnt like the brightness..........lol.

It is a beautiful day in Kansas, at 7:30 pm it is 73 outside.

We broke records today and will keep breaking them through the weekend.. We were 72 and nothing but sun, chicago was in the low 80's and was the same temp in maples fl.
