RE: 2 AM
LeglEgl, I dont consider it a pissing match other than the way you tried to intimadate me by picking out quotes from my post. You and your family obviously have not seen poverty, we have gone with out eating on several occasions just so our oldest could eat.. I dont wish that on any family nor on yours, but walk a mile in the shoes of others that have and I'm sure your oppinion would differ..
I'm thinking you sound just like another member thats been missing for awhile always copy and pasting trying to get the last word in. You need to leave your badge at rest, try praying or somthing that you will gain from..........Popcorn is popping. |

Bronco I was born into poverty, and I know exactly where you are comeing from in your statements here on this subject. I do know who you are reffering to that is missing lately that always had to get the last word in. Boy that was nice when we went through the period of no one trying to get that last word in. I wasn't trying to intimidate anyone - I use the quotation so that I can reply to that specific comment - nothing more. Quote:You and your family obviously have not seen poverty...walk a mile in the shoes of others that have and I'm sure your oppinion would differ.. .. And you know that how ? I've seen my share of it in my lifetime and have had many periods of suffering and trying to survive, but I've never justified VIOLATING THE LAW as means to do so, and have never accepted that it was OK to do so. I've lived on Rice-o-Roni or Mac & Cheese and hot dogs for weeks at a time. I've lived in a roach-infested apartment just to save up to find something better - WITH my first wife and young boys. I've seen my current wife lie motionless in a coma for nearly a week, and attached to life support for another. I watched our life savings dwindle to ZERO, paying Dr. and hospital bills because the other driver was drunk, uninsured, and an illegal alien who fled the country. I've seen my wife lose her ability to earn ANY income and plummet from $30,000 a year to $600 a month. I watched as the real estate industry crumbled, and my $60,000 a year job spiraled to $24,000 a year, only to be reduced to less than $16,000 a year due to a work injury. I've struggled to keep a home and property that I've lived in for 11 years, only to finally surrender and throw my hands up. I've made visits to the food bank with humility and embarrassment in my heart. I have WALKED in those shoes - my opinion doesn't differ. I've always tried to do what is right, and I DO NOT excuse those who do otherwise. BUT, I have YET to consider that my survival would be excused by violating social responsibility and lowering myself to the level of a criminal. Yeah, I guess you're right. I don't have any idea what suffering is, and what's it's like not to have anything. You don't know squat ! RE: 2 AM
Time for you my friend to drop this subject. You're alone in your opinion and all you're doing is alienating people. That is not what this forum is about.

I agree, it is time to drop this subject. A newly injuured worker visiting this forum will not want to see this type of thread.
This forum is learning and supporting injured workers not tearing each other apart! |

RE: 2 AM
I fell asleep aroung 1am, slept til 7am. Thats a good night sleep for me, 6 hrs straight is abnormal but I will take it.. I can feel the pain gaining already, as the days from now on through winter its just going to get worse... I'm thinking of getting my cross bow permit, I used to hunt 24/7 and have not gone since I was injured.. I can see venison stew meat in the future, since my neighbors gift has been eaten.. These old farm fields are like a magnet, and being the last house on the road makes it easier..
