settlement hearing

i couldnt ever see me getting depressed. all the bs and stress caused alot of sepression for me and stress on my family i have never been so happy to be able to move on with my life, free to do what i want without having to worry if someone is watching me around the corner thats a great feeling to be free. thank you all for you help and advice over the years as i will be on still to help as much as i can. good luck to all of you who hope to settle someday your day will come too.

I spoke too soon. Just found out my case is being appealed and may take 4 to 6 months. In the mean time they have my payments reduced by 500 a month.

they should pay any uncontested amount.

im sorry to hear that but why would they appeal your settlement? was it the ins comp that came to you to settle? its a nasty system and this is the bs games i wont miss hang in there and play the game because thats all it is.

The judge asked it be put to a permanency hearing back in 2009. After the judges repeated requests a hearing was finally held. I guess because the judge wouldn't permit either side to cross examine due to the games they were playing the IC decided to appeal because the judge ruled in my favor. I am the one caught in the middle
