RE: Dressing for court
Work comp court in Wichita, Kansas is in a building downtown and court is held on the 4th floor.
The closest parking is 2 blocks away, talk about being out of compliance with ADA. To enter the Department of Labor area waitting room & where court is held one must have a code or be buzzed in to enter the area, a speaker phone is also used. I am hearing impaired so speakers and most phone do not work for me. I would love to have the disability rights commission for our state to do a ADA evaluation of this building. When my case is over one of the first things I plan on doing is having the building evaluated for ADA compliance. I use to serve on my County Commissioners ADA Advisory Board and we would contact officials and do ADA compliance evaluations on county buildings. |
