RE: MRSA Superbug
Sparkey,
AMEN to that! This is exactely what I am talking about. The rights of patients but not the medical team that has to care for them. I agree with you regarding having respect for those patients that would share their info with you as their caretaker. You only have to love a patient like that. One of the strangest things like I said I could not understand in our clinic was the isolation of hepatitis patients and our right to know they were infected with this but not the AIDS patients. What the heck is the difference, they are both dangerous conditions. Also, these infected patients are sitting in a chair so close to other patients. If a dialyzer clots off and the tech is not paying attention that dialyzer line will explode right off the top of that dialyzer and there is blood splatter everywhere. How safe can that be for the other patients, they can't use Universal Precautions? To me, that makes no sense at all. Something is seriously wrong with that picture. This is one crazy world regarding the rights that people have and you know what.....it is only gonna get worse is what I believe. I did not realize you came from the medical field also. Happy to know that. Take care.

Cajun Hugssssssssss,
MJC
