simple question
I have a simple question that I am having trouble finding answers to.
First of all, I know nothing about workers comp. I have a small injury: I have been doing carpentry work and 2 days ago I got a very bad splinter in my hand. I pulled it out thinking no more of it. But this morning I realized there is still a big peice( about 1 in inch long) deep in my hand. My questions is 1) workers comp will pay if I need to have it removed? 2) How long can I wait before going to a doctor? its not that bad an I am inclined to let it be if I can unless it becomes infected, but I dont want to get stuck paying for it if it should be covered. |
