RE: ttd question
Princess I found a statement in the Michigan laws that states that attorneys do recieve 30%. Then I found a statement about what they were calling redemption settlements. Here it stated that the attorney recieves 15% upto $25,000 and then 10% for the remaining balance of what is recieved. I could not find anything that stated anything about the TTD checks. As someone said earlier, I found that lawyers recover their percentages on monies that you recieve because of them such as going to court etc. I don't know about the other. I think if you get a lump sum of back pay that the attorney fights for you, then yes he would recieve a percentage.

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.
