RE: I think I just got kicked in the face
Beth I 'm sorry to hear this but please don't write him off immediately. Granted what he did was extremely crappy and uncaring but remember he may have been having a bad day himself. Please understand I'm not saying what he did is right, only that there seems to be a good friendship there and I would hate to see you both write it off over one crappy statement that he probably already regrets. I hope you don't think I'm saying it's your fault either, I'm just hoping you might both let a little time go by and then give him a call and see what happens.

As far as the bills and food goes please don't wait until you are completely without to apply for whatever aid might be available in your state. I am 44 and for the first time in my life I am now on food stamps as of last Friday. I am not proud of it but right now it's a necessity. Please seek whatever aid is available and don't be ashamed. It took me three years to finally walk through that door and I was actually treated like a person and not a scumbag or a number. Please do the same so that you can get some help and a little relief from the stress.

Hugs,
monster
