I was paid from the date I applide minus 6 months example...if they found me totally disabled in Jan they started my back pay from june.....we wait on the advice from our lawyers and it screws us because our pay is decided on a % of what we have made in a a certain number of years before...if we have been off a couple of years we a a couple of years of _0_ in there.Also medicade waits 2 years to kick in for insurance for most of you that needs health insurance,and they will cover that injury if you have a medicare setaside soooo you need that

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone.You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life,you have come out ahead of the game..... Smile
