Im back, anybody miss me, lol???

Hey it's me, your grouchy old monster I'm sorry it's been so long since I've been here but I've just regained internet access.

I just want to say thanks to Jayne and Tuffy for trying to keep track of me and letting you guys know what I'm up to.

I hope everyone is as well as can be and that your weather isn't to awful bad!!!

Well I'm now living and working on a cutting horse ranch. I'm in heaven and will try to post some pics in the next few weeks once I have some good pics. We haven't been able to work the horses as it's to wet out, but they sure are pretty. I call the horses my "big 1200 lb. valiums", lol

The work is hurting my body but mentally I'm better. Having been on both ends of the stick I'll take the pain over the mental crap.

I'll be here for a bit, have some catching up to do on a couple of sites but wanted to come here first and let you all know that I've missed you so much. Hopefully I saved my password so I can get back in. If I come back as monster 3 you'll know why, LMAO

Nice to hear from you personally, look forward to seeing the pictures. My 'valium' was seeing my fox Saturday morning. Funny enough this morning there was a large buck in my neighbors backyard.

LMAO at you girl Speaking of washing facilities I guess I better get some done today. I have a nerve conduction study in Ft. Worth tomorrow (167 miles one way) and they might appreciate me showing up in something that doesn't smell like horse pucky, lol!

As far as turkeys go...just my new friends but they are all great, not a turkey in the bunch, lol.

You and my grandaughter would get along great, she is horse crazy and doing Barell raceing. But then it is in her blood, there are many (lots) of horse people in my family.

Well hec, I can't enlarge the pic for some reason I think it's cause I'm on my old laptop.

I'm buying a 3 year old stud colt from my friend the boss. He is 1/2 thoroughbred 1/2 quarter horse. We think he will make a great barrel racer. He made me one hec of a deal for him and since we all know how much I love horse puppies I just couldn't pass it up. I am paying 250 per month which includes 100 for my utility usage here (my space heater in my rv chews up lots of electricity!) 100 for feed per month and 50 towards his purchase price of 1500 paid out over 3 years.

I'll put some pics on when I get some good ones. We started him under saddle about 3 weeks ago and then it did nothing but rain. He doesn't have an indoor arena so we are having to wait for the small round pen to dry out.

I'm excited about my new life. It could go in all sorts of directions so now it's up to me to decide which way to go

Monster the main thing here is that you're doing what you love. The body may not agree but you know, as long as you're healing mentally the body will play along.

During one of my breaks at boarding school in South Africa I got to assist a neighbor in breaking in a 2 yr old colt. By the next winter I was jumping him. Those were the days, just wonderful.
